The 'iTablet' is expected to be the focus of today's Apple announcement.
Rumors have been flying that Apple will announce its Apple Tablet at its event, which kicks off at 10AM PT January 27, 2010.
Some last minute Apple Tablet news has leaked ahead of the Apple announcement.
Here's some new gossip, as well as renderings of what the device might look like. (see pictures below)
- McGraw-Hill's CEO may have spilled Apple's Tablet secret: The CEO spoke about 'iTablet' during an interview with CNBC, calling it 'terrific.'
- Engadget has posted some (unconfirmed) Apple Tablet news:
- Jason Calacanis, found of Weblogs Inc and CEO of Mahalo.com, leaked some details about the 'iPad' tablet on Twitter. The Wall Street Journal writes: "Despite that NDA, he claims to be offering a lot of detail on the new device ahead of Apple's announcement tonight. And, he says, "this is the best gadget ever made.""
On a totally separate note, we also received a tip claiming to have some specs -- we can't verify any of this either, but we're told that the device will have a 10-inch screen and look like a larger iPhone with a MacBook-like aluminum back, and that pricing will run800 on contract with Verizon and1000 without when it arrives in March.
