I don't remember Rice, Powell, Albright, Christopher ... or any other Secreary of State complaining so much about being tired.

She knows Obama's a loser.
Doesn't want to get dragged down any further than she already is by this fake change president.

This administration is so bad, in large part, because it's filled with people like HRC.

She is the only one being productive, as the rest of Obamas administration and himself, strike deal after deal after deal behind closed doors that are ruining this country. I hope she does quit...she is better than this administration and what it has proven to be.

Hillary is always saying she's tired... she's tired... she's tired. She actually turned down the Secretary of State job the first time she was offred it, because she said she was tired from the campaign, and just wanted to go for some time off, on a vacation with her daughter.
Again, I ask, if she was so tired, after her campaign lose, which happened in June (if i recall correctly), -- and says she was still tired, when she did not want to take the Secreteray of State job , because she was tired, I just want to know, HOW THE HELL did Hillary think she was going to be able to handle the Presidency?!
06:31 PM on 01/29/2010
Obviously she wasn't that tired. She did take the job did she not.

taking a job and doing it well are two different things. Hillary does SoS like she did first lady... all talk, smile, greet .... no substance.

The way she hastly got invovled with the China-Google case and exaggerated the situation to national level with talks of Information Freedom Rights, do not sit well with many people.

She is attempting to steal the thunder under Obama, who is currently focus on the works of banking and finance reform.

I lost faith in her.

As expected, this story brings out those eager to create division and bring down Obama by pushing SOS Clinton as a candidate for President in 2012 or 2016. What foolishness. As others have pointed out, Secretaries of State rarely last more than one term. It is a grueling job that requires extensive world travel and separation from family and home. Who would want to do that for a long time? I think SOS Clinton has been an excellent SOS so far, and I thank her for her service to our country. I do not expect that her resignation has anything to do with 2012 and I think that those who suggest that is her plan, have their own divisive ulterior motives.

Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Madeleine Albright, and Warren Christopher all serve 4 years as Secretary of State. So I would read too much into this statement. Here is the entire interview with Secretary Clinton -

That would mean the division of the Democratic party and the election of the Republicans. I'll bet you would like that.

Wrong on both counts.
08:47 PM on 01/28/2010
Since Obama will be a one term president, this is a logical conclusion.

She doesn't look at all healthy. A read an article about her failing health recently, and the more I see of her, the more that I believe it is true.

I think that she had performed her job with distinction, and that it will be a real loss to obama should he be re-elected in 2012 to lose her.

If true, good news. How about a one-year Secretary of State? Enough of both the Clintons.

She wants the title, not the work, just like Senator.

Secretary of State is a tough job, and Hillary's done it admirably - but one can only imagine how exhausting it would be, given the current state of the world. Can't blame her for wanting to retire & enjoy life for a little while.

If she retires, it will be to the Oval Office for 8 years.

Yes! A person who cannot handle the job as Secretary of State - because she finds it tiring, should be President!

Or that she was not well.

I've noticed the same thing. Constant intercontinental travel is exhausting even for persons significantly younger than she is.

I agree. Hillary's hairstyle and clothing may have changed, but she's looking pretty tired and drawn lately, maybe even a bit ill. She probably needs a long vacation or some extended down time.
