Reese Witherspoon turned heads in a lace minidress at a benefit for EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund in Beverly Hills Wednesday night, one of her first red carpet appearances since splitting from Jake Gyllenhaal around Thanksgiving. The Daily Mail credits the "heartbreak diet" for her slim shape.

Also attending was newly-single Taylor Swift, who broke up with Taylor Lautner last month.

I think what makes Reese Witherspoon sexy is not based solely on her looks, but also that she's clearly a little brighter than average. She strikes me as an intelligent person who could hold her own in any conversation. She sets a graceful tone, while not taking herself too seriously. What's not to like?
Taylor Swift shouldn't be compared in the same article. She's still has a lot of growing to do.

I don't buy it. You never hear bad things about Reese. She stays out of the tabloids, she takes care of her children and I've never heard she's a diva before. She seems very grounded to me. I think she'd still be married if he hadn't cheated on her.
