Teen Shot While Walking To North Side School

A 15-years-old boy was shot Monday morning outside of a North Side elementary school, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Chicago Public Schools spokeswoman Monique Bond told the Tribune the teen was walking to Brennemann Elementary School about 8:25 a.m. when he was shot in the arm.

The teen ran to the school at 4251 N. Clarendon for help, and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medial Center in good condition.

Police told the Tribune the teen was possibly shot by a 16-year-old boy, and a surveillance camera at a nearby convenience store may have captured the incident, the Tribune reports.
