Michael Brown, Former FEMA Director, Hosting His Own Radio Show

Former Federal Emergency Management Agency director Michael Brown, best known for botching the government's response to Hurricane Katrina, can now be heard weeknights on KOA 850, conservative talk radio,
in Denver.

Brown has filled in on the radio station for months, but signed a contract to be a full-time host with KOA last week. Each night the show opens with a clip of the famous line from Former President George W. Bush, "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."

As KDVR reports, Brown is embracing his notoriety instead of running from his past.

"I did nothing wrong in terms of I didn't commit a crime I didn't violate any rules, it was a political disaster, I got thrown under the bus by the President," Brown told us.

Even though it was the government's failure that made Brown a house hold name, he says it also makes him an ideal radio host.

"Here's a guy who's seen the best of government when things work perfectly, here's a guy who's seen when things don't work at all. Who better to understand that entire spectrum of how things work," Brown explained.
