The event, also dubbed an "Anti-Valentine's Day Party," will feature some of the worst dating stories you have ever heard from some of Chicago's most interesting storytellers.

Cupid- A Singles Party For Pets
We are looking for someone to photograph a Valentine's party for singles and their pets. Urban Out Sitters, a doggy daycare and pet hotel in Chicago's West Loop, hosts the event. Guests will receive wine and finger foods. No word on pet snacks yet.

Chicago History Museum's Pub Crawl Series
We are looking for a brave soul (who is over 21) to tag along with the "Eye of the Tiger" pub crawl. Don't worry, it's not Karate Kid themed. Here is the history museum's explanation: "According to Chinese astrology, the Year of the Tiger is upon us. Not quite sure what that means? This trolley tour takes you to taverns throughout the city that pay homage to animals in the Chinese zodiac, where you will learn the true meaning behind Chinese New Year customs."

The Darker Side of Light: Arts Of Privacy, 1850-1900
This traveling exhibit from the National Gallery of Art features prints from the 18th century that deal with violence, drugs and suicide--which were often deemed inappropriate for public walls. The exhibit emphasizes the darkness of more "private" art that thrived underground as the public focused on Impressionist works.
