How many times and how many ways can we say "NO"

Liars and cheats don't suddenly develop morals, values and ethics. Either they originally had those traits or they didn't. Now that we have found out the majority of them didn't -we would have to be idiots to trust them with another penny. We're broke and they're handing out bonuses from the money we loaned the system.

They should be asking whether or not we'll ever trust the Wall Street Journal again.

How does one regain trust in this collection of thieves that one never had to begin with?

I've been doing my own market analytics and trading since 1996 and have been using an online trading service since 1998. I've never trusted anything anyone on wall street has ever told me.

So no...I've never trusted anyone on wall street and never will.

Do the hard work of balance and income statement analysis and market segment analysis to determine good long term performers in the market place. Avoid the hype machines and you should be fine.

I trust Wall Street considerably less than I trust any other gambling establishment. At least in a casino, the liquor's free. And they're better regulated!

Trust? We need to recognize Wall Street for what it is - a rigged casino.

I won't but I'm sure the short term memory as a group will begin to listen to anyone that tells them it is over with and we won't do it again. What a laugh...

This has been on my mind for some time. Every week I have money taken out of my paycheck for my 401k. Who among this den of thieves do I trust? Triple A bond rateings mean nothing. Companies have record profits but no dividends. It's like the ruling class has figured out how to have thier cake and eat it too.

You have a point there. My financial adviser tells me not to worry about my annuities, company has been in buisness since 1887, oh, like Lehman Brothers? Your municipal bonds are safe, no state has ever defaulted, oh like Calif? Geez, who is a guy to trust? I'm 60 years old. If I touch my nest egg the state will get 30%. Seems like I'm between the devil and the deep blue sea. Then he tells me I should have more blue chips, like maybe Toyota?

A Murdoch rag - "The Wall Street Journal" - pining for "trust".
