Republican Governors Association Using Dan Hynes Campaign Ads To Attack Pat Quinn (VIDEO)

Even though the winner of the GOP's gubernatorial nomination remains unclear, Republicans are already attacking Gov. Pat Quinn--and using fellow Democrat Dan Hynes' anti-Quinn campaign ads to do so.

The Republican Governors Association released a video on YouTube on Tuesday--before Hynes even conceded--that mashes up various campaign ads showing Quinn in a less-than-perfect light.

The video, titled "Pat Quinn-Big Mistake" uses the notorious footage of former Chicago Mayor Harold Washington calling Quinn his "greatest mistake," the Hynes ad about tax hikes on the middle class and Quinn's controversial prisoner release program.

It also shows video of Quinn falling asleep during a Campaign for Better Health Care Candidate Forum. The video is just the beginning of what is sure to be a long and winding campaign for Gov. Quinn.

Meanwhile, the Republican candidates Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard remain within 400 votes of one another--and Illinois may not see a GOP gubernatorial nominee until March.
