Coyotes At Columbia? University Warns Students Of Wild Animals

Forget James Franco, the hottest celebrity spotting at Columbia University is now a trio coyotes.

The wild coyotes were spotted in front of the university's Lewisohn Hall Sunday morning.

Dianna M. Pennetti, the Director of Public Safety at Columbia's sister-school Barnard immediately sent out an e-mail to students with a warning not to approach the animals if spotted.

There has a been spate of coyote sightings in and around New York City in recent weeks and years.

Students at the Ivy League school should hope that a beagle infestation isn't next!
