Kendra Wilkinson's Husband Hank Baskett's Super Bowl Flub (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

For tabloid readers who don't follow football, the Super Bowl was a match up between reality television personalities Kim Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson, the girlfriend of Saints star Reggie Bush and the wife of Colts player Hank Baskett.

As Kim celebrates the Saints' win, it was no doubt a somber night in the Baskett household. The game turned in New Orleans favor at the start of the second half when a risky onside kick bounced off Hank Baskett's hands and helmet, rather than being caught, and was recovered by the Saints. Below is the Getty photograph, including a zoom of his pained face, taken a second after the ball bounced off Baskett and into the hands of the Saints, changing the momentum of the game.

According to the AP, Kendra was so upset she retreated to the back of her luxury suite and Baskett did not take questions after the game. Scroll below the photos for video.

UHMMM........ start of the third quarter, score 10 to 6, and Hank Baskette blows the game? How does that work when Payton Manning is the one who threw the interception. WTF? Im not a fan oh hank whoever he is but to blame this guy doesn't make sense

I feel terrible. I bet they'll end up crying all the way to the bank. If she was 40 pounds heavier, nobody would know who she is. Act like a brainless twit, flaunt yourself endlessly at the right people and you'll be driving a Bently in no time. Way to go Hank, your team lost the game but I'll bet your still on top..... of the world that is.

The onside kick was like winning or losing a coin toss. Very little skill and primarily luck decided that play. Give the Saints credit but there was a lot of luck involved and the Colts later took the lead anyway so there were many other plays that also decided the game.

Sorry, but the Saints had seen film of Colts players, Baskett in particular, dropping BACK into coverage before the kicker hit the ball. Watch the game again; you'll see that Baskett does just that. It's preparation and good coaching, not luck.

The team did lose but Hank Baskett stunk in Philly well that whole team in Philly stinks but how he got to the Colts is a wonder. His career is over lets hope or wait send him back to Philly, he never amount to anything other then captain of the DL team.

The Saint's win brought happiness to the people in the 9th ward I am very happy for them.

The Colt's new stadium took taxpayer money from much needed projects like public schools, hospitals, and repairing of roads. To hell with them and Hank Basset!

The Colts new stadium also kept the Colts in Indy. Thanks to Mitch for keeping Indiana's budget in check and keeping the Colts, and the billions of dollars they will bring to our economy. So short-sighted, but I'd expect nothing else from a radical leftist.

For once, good for the media in reporting this 'news' on this couple. Clearly they seek the public spotlight and the benefits that go along with it. I can see nothing that would be more 'newsworthy' for the football player than how he did in the big game. Should he and Ms Kendra have chosen a more private life, then this would have blended into just a special teams gaffe by some anonymous guy.

They have chased the spotlight, and in the one big chance he had to make a good play, he completely blew it, first by putting his head down to miss contact while bungling the ball, and again he blew it by laying there and not going after the ball which popped loose again. Fail. and Fail. Putting your head down on a play like that usually results in a special teamer getting cut. As does the lack of second effort/

Had he made a good play, i could see the happy couple trumpeting it to the world. That was not the case. Enjoy your fame... and reality.

Guys, its a football game. Period. When you put it in perspective, you have to see there are way more important issues than a loss of a game. I get it, its an ego deal. Um, ya know what is the best ego deal? Letting go of the loss and looking at the good things we have in life. It happens, people lose games. Its not the end of the world. Baskett is a great player, and will come back next year to disprove his naysayers. They already have a sweet life, so they should not complain. Heroes bite the bullet, call the winning team, congratulate them and move on. There is always next year..
