If the marijuana was grown in Canada and the profits did not go to finance the Mexican drug gang atrocities I say the growers should be rewarded not persecuted.

That bit about the money going to buy cocaine sounds like propaganda to me.

Obama sneers at pot legalization.
He also has the military out grabbing protestors at demonstrations.

Really?

Any proof?

You're full of a common barnyard substance!

But I'll bet that you didn't object to the CT Cowboy having people arrested for wearing T-shirts bearing messages he didn't like

Less Pot on the street means higher prices for weed which means more crime in the drug business. At least these two guys were beating the recession. Good for them.

More Pot on the street means lower prices means less crime involved.

Wait did I just say that?

Cops are like the worst thing for society right now..... big ego, small brain.... and a gun.... ruining people's lives whenever they can... .cause it makes them feel powerful....not useful, powerful. They are an extension of our very, very broken government..... that works for the 1%.

1) Cops don't make laws

2) Cops aren't permitted to decide which laws they like

3) If you have an emergency - even a life-threatening one - deal with it yourself

Go ahead and make all the money you can off of prohibition, boys.

It'll be over soon, and you'll have to fight actual crime.

Sounds like a seizure of property more than anything. This doesn't make the city any safer. Now there's just a bit less marijuana, a few more people without jobs.
04:05 PM on 02/08/2010
seeing that making the city safer is not the aim PD's nationwide they accomplised their purpose.

Police don't make the laws

If you think that they don't try to make the city safer, attend a funeral of any officer killed while protecting a civilian. I have!
