Since early January, when Harold E. Ford Jr. announced he was considering a bid for a Senate seat from New York, his wife, Emily Ford, has been hounded. Her friends call almost daily to ask if she has read the latest gossip about the couple. Mr. Ford can't seem to stop talking about his wife, either, recently telling a columnist that he walks her favorite Chihuahua, Fabby.

You know, i don't want this to be about race, but Harold why did you marry a "Becky" knowing you want to be a politician? Everything in politics is calculated, everything. BTW, having big money backing you does not garantee a win...unless you Bloomberg and can actually buy an election, then you home free.

If Harold Ford stays in this race, it will be clear that he is bought and paid for by the banking and wall street interests. He certainly can't count on any financial support from the DNC.

Harold Ford will move to another state and try to run there. He is nothing more than a political want to be and will ly and say anything. Look he shows up on msnbc morning Joe and Joe pushes him as much as he can. Fair and balanced??? LOL

I remember when Harold Ford lied and said his grandmother was white. Did he really expect people to believe that there were white folks pretending to be black in the Jim Crow south?
