Detox naturally by allowing your cells to rid waste efficiently. Walking does this naturally. You can walk all day at your desk with a TrekDesk Treadmill Desk. You will also improve health, lose weight, fight disease, improve productivity and boost your mood.

Learn by Doing ... so much available today, an ease and variety. Tofu Cookery, Recipes from the Spot and the Vegetarian Soup Cook Book have been a mainstay for several years.

The Yum Taco: Warm corn tortillas, sliced avocado, peach salsa, louisiana hot sauce. A feeling of fullness without overtaxing the system :)

It's been almost 2 years now since I heard Dr. T. Colin Campbell's evidence about the disease-fighting virtues of a vegan diet and I learned about Green Smoothies.

I've been drinking Green Smoothies most everyday now for 2 years--and I've even take my Vita-Mix 5200 on vacation with me. Is it working for me? Absolutely! Haven't tired of it yet.

There is no better way to be sure to get 6-9 servings of fruits & vegetables a day.

I'm a creature of habit, so I often stick to the fruits & vegetables that are highest in nutrients--kale or Swiss chard, carrots, apples, black raspberries, oranges, pomegranate juice, and maybe a kiwi.

You might be interested in the follow-up, the benefits, the nutritional info, and why greens are so good for us.

I do green veggie and fruit smoothies every day. Took the place of more toxic traditional breakfast food. Yummie!!! I love my blender.

Thanks! Drinks, salads, and smoothies are the easiest way to detox-- I love to do them in Spring time as part of an annual cleanse.

There’s an interesting post over at the Health Journal Club that makes the case that people should just not eat anything that wasn’t a food 100 years ago. Gets rid of the aspartame, bleached GM flour, high fructose corn syrup garbage they try to pass off as food these days. If interested you can read on it here,

After my chemo therapy for breast cancer, i decided to go on a detox diet. Six week of no processed foods, alcoholic, caffeine, sugar, dairy or meat. I ate lots of fruit, vegetables and whole grains. I felt glorious after wards, full of energy. I think it might be time to give it another try.
