Barton Gellman Joins TIME Magazine From Washington Post

Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Barton Gellman is joining TIME magazine as a contributing Editor-at-Large.

Gellman joins the magazine from the Washington Post, where he shared in two Pulitzer Prizes. He also wrote a book on Dick Cheney, "Angler: The Cheney Vice Presidency."

"Bart is simply one of the premier journalists of our time and his superb reporting and writing will help us continue to lead the conversation on the biggest and most important issues facing the country and the world," TIME Managing Editor Rick Stengel said in an announcement to the magazine's staff Friday.

Gellman is expected to write "cover stories and features on government, politics, national security and technology" as well as a column for TIME.com about "personal privacy and security in the digital age," according to Stengel's announcement.
