The Right has left the world of sanity.....

The hypocrisy of the Republican Party is mind-numbing. Health Care is another Republican spin game. They claim to have a ‘plan’. This ‘plan’ is nine pages of boilerplate that has yet to be formed into any kind of bill. Some of their ideas have been merged into the House and Senate plans. But, that’s right, they also claimed to be locked out of those negotiations. So how then did their ideas make it into the plan? On February 8th, Republican House leader John Boehner sent a letter to the White House, demanding that the White House put their plan on line. So, the White House agrees. What does Boehner do next? He complains that the plan is posted ahead of the conference so therefore the conference is a trap.
Honestly, GOP – do something, anything. Post a plan – a real plan. Vote for something that will help the American citizen who is suffering from your deficit spending. Do something other than the same old thing: when there is a Democrat in the White House, don’t compromise, don’t participate, don’t negotiate. Complain about policies that you were FOR before he got there, about ‘being included’. Force 60 votes for even the most basic of jobs. Basically, block government from running and put the American people hostage to your political games and nonsense.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Democrats talk big, govern small.
Because of their inability to be strong and your inability to be honest – we suffer.

We would like to ask John Boehner what have you been doing for a year that you don't have a copy of the Health Care Bill, how was you objecting to a bill you say you don't have we say to the President don't post nothing until the Summit is over, they want you to post the Bill so CNN, Early Morning MSNBC and FOX can attack it, for them this is who they support. John Boehner is full of it, they should be the one posting their Ideals, the Democrats have given them to mush as it is, let's see what they have to offer.

When it comes to health care reform that will benefit the American people and NOT the corporations, the Republicans have absolutely nothing to offer simply because they are the party of, for, and by the corporations and the wealthy. Can you name one piece of legislation in the past 40 years that the Republicans have been primary in getting through congress that TRULY benefits ordinary Americans and not mainly the corporations or the very wealthy? Name just ONE! The last decent Republican president who cared about all Americans and not just the corporations and the wealthy was Dwight D. Eisenhower. If you are a "tea bagger", if you are an Independent, and if you are a Republican, I challenge you to come up with an honest answer to my question. And don't start talking about "trickle down" economics, because it is a proven failure that has gotten us into the economic mess we are currently enduring.

According to the White House, the intention is for Democrats to have the House and Senate versions worked out into one bill by the the time of the meeting on the 25th.

As the GOP wasn't involved with either of those bills at their inception, where does that leave them? Well, no matter. They shouldn't have wee-wee'd away their majority by acting like progressives.

Mr. Boehner's best bet is to stick with policy differences on HOW to reform healthcare. Given what they know already about the current bills in both houses, the American people aren't buying Obamacare. A sensible 'government is not the answer' alternative proposal will get more traction.

You could have taken every Republican in Congress out on a field trip and still had the votes for every initiative.

Why did nothing pass?

That's the question you should be asking.

Do the unemployed folks, the middle class families who have been foreclosed on, the families without health insurance and who have run out of savings, or the promising high school seniors who will not be going to college because they have get a fast food job to help their family survive know what Boehner and his pals have been up to? Even if you still believe the President is a Muslim born in Kenya and he is a Socialist bent on destroying our system of government maybe you need to find out what your guys in the Party of Nah, No and No Way are NOT doing to improve your life.

Well, since about 2006, Mr. Boehner's side of the aisle hasn't been up to much.

Since the election of 2008, the Party of No has been saying, "No, you can't come in here while we take over one-sixth of the economy."

That's politics. Nothing new here.

That all said, where is it written that the GOP or Democrats, or Progressives or the government in general is supposed to be improving my life? Can't they all just get out of our collective way so we can improve our own lives?

What, are we not up to it? At this late date, maybe not.

'Please, sir, I want some more.'

John Boehner will never support a health care plan that does not include the full cost of a tanning bed, suntan oil, and tinted contact lenses.

Rachael is doing an excellant job on her show pinpointing the hypocrisy of the congressional conservatives. They voted against the 'recovery act' with a lot of fanfare and media publicity, but in their home districts they are giving out stimulus checks. They cry that the 'recovery act' did not create any jobs, but in their home district they are telling their people how many jobs have been created with the stimulus checks.

Rachael gives name by name, city by city on how these hypocrites are touting the good for the economy these stimulus checks are, but on national TV they shoot it down.

I am glad Obama Admin has started using 'war room' communications and message control. They have a new communications manager so we can expect to get some rapid response to the lies and distortions the repubs are pulling out there. It's about time for this action.

Republicans, for many reasons, all known to us, will not let HC reforms pass, did same in 94, and will ridicule it, reject it as socialism, for next 40 years........

Unless citizens realize it, with health care costs going up every year, 10 times up as compared to 94 already, numbers creeping up to 50Mill, i.e. 1/5 person is w/o it. Its not gonna happen.

People of republican side have to realize that its not in this best interest to let this insan1ty go on, people struggling for HC, and wall street exec making billions in bonuses.

Mr. Boehner besides not wanting any health insurance
partially funded by public money, not wanting this particular
President to succeed, not intending to actually come up with
a real workable alternative for anything, what exactly do you
want? I would like you to publically state you have no intention
of running for President in 2012. If you do, then state exactly
how you intend to do a better job, don't give some vague
ideology that you won't end up doing anyway.

Isn't it obvious? He thinks a health care reform plan should "start with a clean piece of paper" because THAT is what the GOPie proposal, which the president requested they bring to the summit, consists of...a blank piece of paper!

Starting with blank sheet of paper is merely delaying tactics.

Why is their sheet still blank after years of pain and suffering by millions of this country, for lack of HC or with the hands health care providers????
