Boulder Happiest City In Country According To USA Today; Western Cities Fair Well

USA Today released it's comprehensive list of America's happiest, healthiest cities Monday, and the West was dominant. 8 of the top 10 cities were west of the Mississippi, and 3 of those ten were in the Rocky Mountain West.

Check out which Rocky Mountain cities made the cut and why:

#1: Boulder, Colo.

Boulder ranked in the top ten for physical health, healthy behaviors and access to basic services, but came in 27th for emotional health. So what does this mean for Boulder residents? They love their jobs, eat right, work out, and take care of themselves, but they could use more laughter in their day.
