Vancouver Olympics 2010: Incredible Images From February 17 (PHOTOS)

Wednesday was a huge day for Team USA at the Vancouver Olympics. Among the six medals won were three golds: Lindsey Vonn, Shani Davis and Shaun White all took home top honors, and the United States is back atop the Winter Olympics medal count.

Thursday's action includes more alpine skiing, snowboarding and figure skating. In the meantime, check out some of the most impressive images captured during Wednesday's excitement.

All respect and admiration to the athletes. But honestly, these pictures look pretty much like every other media collection of Olympic stills.
Not anyone's fault though. A person skiing down a hill looks a lot like another person skiing down a similar steep hill.

I've been waiting 4 years to see Shaun White and Apolo Ohno again! But I've watched lots more.... all the ski events are amazing. Love love love snowboard cross. The only thing I don't care for is "ice dancing", but I like figure skating.

I should be too old to say this, but the snowboard riders' outfits are so cool - very contempory for a contempory sport.
