Alexander McQueen's Isabella Blow-Inspired Spring/Summer 2008 Collection (PHOTOS, POLL)

London Fashion Week kicked off on Friday with tributes to the late, great Alexander McQueen, who took his life a little over a week ago. Parallels had been drawn between the designer's death and that of his friend and mentor Isabella Blow. After Blow took her life in May 2007, a devastated McQueen dedicated his spring/summer 2008 collection to her.

On Thursday afternoon, Michelle Obama wore a blouse from that collection while meeting with students from England. See the first lady, the collection, and the woman who inspired it below...and vote for your favorite pieces.
