Gloria Allred: Tiger Woods Apology 'A Staged Stunt'

Gloria Allred, the prominent lawyer who has represented a range of high-profile clients, called Tiger Woods' Friday apology a "staged public relations stunt."

Allred has worked for at least two alleged Tiger Woods mistresses, including Rachel Uchitel (PHOTOS) and porn star Joslyn James (PHOTOS). She said today that Woods needs "lying rehab" and "betrayal rehab" in addition to sex addiction therapy.

James, who claims she was twice impregnated by the golf superstar, demanded an apology from Woods. Speaking for her client, Allred said:

"I just watched Tiger Woods' apology on television, and he said that many people believed in him. He also said he wanted to make amends. He did not apologize by name to my client, Veronica, and I ask, why no apology?"

Later, James teared up while explaining that she could not control falling in love with Woods.

Allred and James have previously expressed outrage at a set of golf balls depicting Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses. James is also a wanted woman in Washington state for allegedly neglecting to pay child support payments.

Women linked to Tiger Woods

• Emma Rotherham allegedly had early-morning sex on Woods' office couch. Tiger reportedly loved to see her in black stockings and suspenders.
• Jaimee Grubbs (PHOTOS) saved a voicemail from her lover, as well as steamy text messages. Jaimee stripped down for two magazines (sexy PHOTOS).
• Jamie Jungers (PHOTOS) says she and Tiger had "wild" and "crazy" sex against a wall. She also claims to have slept with Woods the night his father died. Jungers, who allegedly once worked as a stripper, parlayed her newfound fame into jobs pitching vodka and an auction web site. She also appeared on the Today show and Dateline.
• Julie Postle (PHOTOS) allegedly met Woods when she worked as a cocktail waitress in Orlando. Tiger was reportedly "obsessed" with Postle and "really hunted" her. She was also photographed in a bikini.

• Susie Ogren says she took ecstasy with Tiger and he hoped "to get me into bed."
• Rachel Uchitel (PHOTOS) was the first of Tiger's alleged mistresses. Woods reportedly emailed her once to say that "I finally found someone I connect with." In another alleged email, Woods shared a steamy fantasy of Uchitel simultaneously having sex with Derek Jeter and Bones star David Boreanaz. A National Enquirer source called Uchitel a "celebrity whore."
• Loredana Jolie, a Playboy model, was allegedly "one of [Tiger's] favorites." She is planning a book that will spill the beans on Woods' alleged sexual encounters with men.
• Theresa Rogers has been described as a "cougar" who allegedly boasted that she taught Tiger "everything he needed to know to be a great lover." She reportedly conceived a baby while she was seeing Woods, but an article suggests she believes the father is a Serbian basketball player she was also seeing at the time. According to another article, Woods told Rogers that he only married Elin Nordegren to boost his image. The 40-something Rogers may have negotiated a payoff in exchange for her silence.
• Joslyn James is a porn star (PHOTOS, VIDEO) who has starred in films such as Porn Star Brides and MIA - Milfs In Action. She is also wanted in Washington state.
• Holly Sampson is a porn star (NSFW pictures, video) whose films include Descent Into Bondage and Diary of a Horny Housewife. She may have worked as an escort (NSFW) and appeared in a video in which she describes her "amazing" sex with Tiger Woods. In another article, she spoke about the "sensual, beautiful experience."

Joslyn James clearly does not love Tiger. If she did, she would not hold a press conference demanding an apology after retaining the services of one Gloria Allred. This is not love. This is pure aggression masked is the classic guise of a woman loving a man.

If she truly loved Tiger, she would not make such a spectacle. She does have a right to feel hurt after what happened, but Love does not want. It gives.
Jame's conference is means of hurting Tiger, the exact opposite of love. What I am saying is that her motive is not what she says it is.
Most men I know would sacrifice themselves to protect their wives. With some possiblity of DV by Erin, Tiger still protected his wife who used a golf club to smash the back window of his SUV. Allred only seems to see the "bad" side of men.
James needs to take reponsibility for her actions. She did have a choice.
Wood's infidelity is not the point here. Instead, I've limited my comments to the content of the article; namely that her stated true love is not consistent with James actions, that her aggression is couched in terms of 'love", and that the hiring of Allred gives her yet another media event to mislead America and the world to advance mysandristic concept that men are the root of all evil. If your work surrounds you with unscrupulous men, you will have a skewed view men AND women.

First, if Tiger wanted to fool around, that's no concern of mine. I'm sure there are a lot of pro-golfers through history that have done mucho mucho worse. This was hardly a felony. I also assume his wife had full knowledge. Probabably this was never a marriage to begin with, just a financial deal between them. Now they're both playing out a little dance for the public until she eventually "takes him back". (Hold laughter) .

Of course his apology was a stunt. All celebrity appologies are a stunt. But, what Alred is doing is also a stunt. What Alred is doing is just like when Angelina Jolie asked Jen Aniston to meet and talk about Brad. Did anyone seriously think Jolie expected Aniston to take her up on the offer? No. It was for PR.

Every criminal deserves a defense, including women who steal other women's husbands. Let's face it, these women all committed the ultimate moral crime against their peers -- whether they initiated it or the Woods initiated it. They admitted to it. They are just as criminal and deserve no apology. Gloria should go find deserving clients.

This is quite curious coming from a lawyer .Lawyer's are experts at "staging" and asking questions they already know the answers to so she comes off as a hypocrite in my opinion. All of her clients are gonna make money or try to make money. She has alot of...what's the word...intestinal fortitude to do this and make money off of it. Profit from someone else's dirty laundry. Has anyone ever had their family problems posted as "daily news"?? In my opinion Allred is a sleaze.
