Tiger Woods' press conference Friday morning will mark his first public statement since a post-Thanksgiving car crash exposed a burgeoning sex scandal that led him to take a hiatus from golf. After months of seclusion, the first confirmed photographs of Woods in months were released earlier in the week.

While the specifics of his statement are unknown, PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem wrote that Woods will return to therapy after his comments today. It has been rumored that Woods attended a sex rehab clinic in Mississippi. Gambling web sites, meanwhile, have posted odds for various potential outcomes from today's event.

Women linked to Tiger Woods

• Emma Rotherham allegedly had early-morning sex on Woods' office couch. Tiger reportedly loved to see her in black stockings and suspenders.
• Jaimee Grubbs (PHOTOS) saved a voicemail from her lover, as well as steamy text messages. Jaimee stripped down for two magazines (sexy PHOTOS).
• Jamie Jungers (PHOTOS) says she and Tiger had "wild" and "crazy" sex against a wall. She also claims to have slept with Woods the night his father died. Jungers, who allegedly once worked as a stripper, parlayed her newfound fame into jobs pitching vodka and an auction web site. She also appeared on the Today show and Dateline.
• Julie Postle (PHOTOS) allegedly met Woods when she worked as a cocktail waitress in Orlando. Tiger was reportedly "obsessed" with Postle and "really hunted" her. She was also photographed in a bikini.

• Susie Ogren says she took ecstasy with Tiger and he hoped "to get me into bed."
• Rachel Uchitel (PHOTOS) was the first of Tiger's alleged mistresses. Woods reportedly emailed her once to say that "I finally found someone I connect with." In another alleged email, Woods shared a steamy fantasy of Uchitel simultaneously having sex with Derek Jeter and Bones star David Boreanaz. A National Enquirer source called Uchitel a "celebrity whore."
• Loredana Jolie, a Playboy model, was allegedly "one of [Tiger's] favorites." She is planning a book that will spill the beans on Woods' alleged sexual encounters with men.
• Theresa Rogers has been described as a "cougar" who allegedly boasted that she taught Tiger "everything he needed to know to be a great lover." She reportedly conceived a baby while she was seeing Woods, but an article suggests she believes the father is a Serbian basketball player she was also seeing at the time. According to another article, Woods told Rogers that he only married Elin Nordegren to boost his image. The 40-something Rogers may have negotiated a payoff in exchange for her silence.
• Joslyn James is a porn star (PHOTOS, VIDEO) who has starred in films such as Porn Star Brides and MIA - Milfs In Action. She is also wanted in Washington state.
• Holly Sampson is a porn star (NSFW pictures, video) whose films include Descent Into Bondage and Diary of a Horny Housewife. She may have worked as an escort (NSFW) and appeared in a video in which she describes her "amazing" sex with Tiger Woods. In another article, she spoke about the "sensual, beautiful experience."

Fine already! He has apologized. Hopefully he’s done this for the last time. He apologized to everyone who tuned in Friday to watch his speech. That was over and above any obligation he ever had to the general public.

He broke no laws. No one was physically hurt and it is nobody’s business but his and his wife’s what happens next. He broke his marriage vows and he’s probably not the first man to do that, I’m willing to guess.

For those of you who feel he hasn’t done enough or that his apology was scripted or insincere. So! Get over it! They were words that came from his mouth. To sit there and say he wasn't genuine would mean you can look inside his soul. If that's the case then it's no surprise what we've learned about Tiger over the last three months. You already knew what he was thinking.

Do you forgive Tiger? Do you forgive Henry the VIII? Do you forgive Thomas Jefferson? Do you forgive JFK? Do you forgive Bill Clinton? Do you forgive Donald Trump? Do you forgive Wade Boggs? Do you forgive Brad Pitt? Your answer is irrelevant.

He can see his kids. And yes if Elin had been with a different pool boy everynight, and he found out about it, I think most people would understand if he'd smashed out the windowns of her car. Marital betrayal is obvious a very deep thing, which is why courts allow a distinction for "crimes of passion". So obviously, that has to be taken into account. But she didn't do that according to Tiger.

This man is a golfer, not a politician, or a man of the cloth. He can do what he wants. I do not need a public confession from him nor any confession. He is young and feeling his urges. He had sex, he did not committed murder. He has made a mistake regarding his family life. Those are the people he must come to terms with.

Let's talk about journalism and journalists with a penchant for smut , but a real laziness when it comes to really important issues. I am not so sure about any of their personal situations, even though they report smut as if they all lead exemplary lives.

There was no reason for Woods to keep the media spotlight on this non-story other than an egotistical narcissistic need to be the center of attention. This rehab stuff is also a publicity stunt. People don't care about Woods and his girlfriends, but our tabloid media keeps trying to compete with Entertainment Tonight. Woods will drag this out until it starts to die down then he'll make a grand entrance back onto the putting green and here we go again. The guy lost his identity years ago...probably around the age of 2 when his dad stuck a putter in his hand.

TIGER'S CONTRIVED STATEMENT WAS A POOR EFFORT IN EXPLAININIG HIS ISSUES. HE ONCE AGAIN WANT'S TO BE IN CONTROL, AS HE ALWAYS DID AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO.
HE EVEN WENT SO FAR AS TO BLAME THE MEDIA AND THAT HE AND HIS FAMILY ARE VICTIMS. YES THEY ARE VICTIMS IN SO MANY WAYS, BUT TIGER BY HIS ACTIONS LEFT THEM UNPROTECTED AND TARGETS OF THE MEDIA. TIGER'S FAME AND SUPERSTAR REPUTATION WAS BUILT BY THE MEDIA WHICH HE RELISHED. NOW HE IS SEEING THE OTHER SIDE AND DOESN'T LIKE IT.
ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON'S THAT EARL DIDN'T TEACH HIM WAS HUMILITY.
TIGER HAS A LONG WAY TO GO..........HE ALSO MUST APOLIGIZE TO THE SEX PARTNERS WHICH HE DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED.
HE WOULD STILL BE CHASING SKIRT IF ELIN DIDN'T FIND OUT AND HIS MANY SEX PARTNERS DIDN'T COME FORWARD. HE WAS SORRY FOR BEING STUPID AND GETTING CAUGHT.

ChicagoBob ... I am happy for you. Your ignorance indicates that you have never lost a loved one to HPV. There is currently no way to screen men for HPV. The most deadly HPV illnesses tend to show no symptoms. Those who develop symptoms tend to have milder cases, which don't advance to cancer, but not always. The tests and vaccines for women are improving but are still limited in scope. There are 15 deadly HPV illnesses, linked to cancer of the cervix, vulva, throat (among others). Please refer to the November 2000 edition of the New England Journal of Medicine, which speaks to the limited effectiveness of condoms in HPV prevention. Some HPV illnesses have incubation period of 20 years or more. Children can be exposed to HPV during pregnancy. Additionally, there are Hepatitis viruses for which there are no titers (specifically Hepatitis Delta, which was thought to be rare but without widespread titers, we don't know.) Hepatitis C titers have only been available since 1991, so pre-1991 cases of non-A/non-B Hepatitis had to be re-evaluated. It appears that YOU need to be more informed (and more sensitive toward women who DO live in fear after high-risk infidelity and rape.) Women suffer an exponentially higher price. This topic requires more space than I have, but I will post more information, including links to peer-reviewed scientific studies.

And the funny thing is: Many of those corporate people to whom he has apologised have been engaged or are engaged in extra marital affairs,but you will not hear about that! It is hyprocrisy! I still say the media demonised him and it was unfair..Kudos to him for giving a statement of apology as history will record this moment, I will say he is the greatest golfer ever and nothing can stop that man's game. He was made for golf! Or golf was made for him--whichever comes first

It was embarrassing to watch Woods humble himself before his corporate masters. People have affairs and marriages fall apart all the time but Tiger had to put on this big show, kneeling before the alter of money. It was a far more revolting display than anything he had done before.

The hypocrosy to be politically correct for the sake of money and sponsorship while engaging in behaviors contrary to image is ridiculous. Men with lots of $$$$$$$ feel entitled to be the one to get to cast aside conventions to do whatever they want without repercussions. They seem to feel insulated enough that they will be the ones not to be caught or discovered. News Alert: THEY ALL DO EVENTUALLY!

If Tiger feels the need to have sex with countless partners while breaking vows, having to lie to those he loves, falsely charade his public image, etc., the real aggitation seems to be one of lacking integrity and character. From what many of the posts seem to be echoing is the lack of integrity and character this whole Tiger circus reflects about himself, public figures and the sanctity of committments, one of which is marriage.

Rich or poor, integrity and character seems to be what is lacking with so many. Those pointing finger at others are really pointing at themselves. I've cut off my finger so that doesn't happen anymore :).

The difference is rich men can because women will sleep with men who have money.

Tiger's mistake was getting married, no doubt.

Rich young men have no business getting married. Nor any reason to do so...
