Visitors to Rolling Stone magazine's website, RollingStone.com, Monday, noticed that the site was down, sprouting an internet rumor that the magazine had not properly renewed its domain name.
A Rolling Stone rep insists that's not the case.
"It's just a technical problem -- we'll be up shortly," Wenner Media spokesman Mark Neschis told the New York Times. He insisted that the domain name is current and renewed, and described the site's problem as "a glitch."
