Jeff Garlin On Jon Stewart: His Food Addiction And New Book 'My Footprint' (VIDEO)

Jeff Garlin, the comedian and actor, was on "The Daily Show" last night to talk to Jon Stewart, an old friend of his, about his new book, "My Footprint," a memoir on his long-time food addiction. "It's not an attractive problem," he said, unlike coke addiction or alcoholism, and he declared that he had quit eating sugar and fast food, and hadn't had either for a year.

The pair seemed to have a great time reminiscing as Stewart nailed Garlin over and over on the crazy habits of his days of overeating. Stewart on Garlin's ADD:

Back in the ADD days... you had trouble with your food addiction because you couldn't concentrate long enough to even finish your doughnut!

Stewart admitted to feeling guilty for enabling Garlin's addiction, explaining that:

There's nothing that two Jews like more than to sit around in a diner late at night and talk about what they're eating.

Jon ended the interview with a hearty endorsement of "Footprints": "It's like hugging Jeff Garlin when you read this book."
