Artist Alex Katz unveiled a portrait of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, which will be hung in London's National Portrait Gallery from May until September, Vogue UK reports. This is the first portrait that Wintour has agreed to do, and she seemed happy with the results, saying, "I couldn't think of a nicer way to spend the afternoon. We talked for two hours while he worked, and I was pleased to see that he used a lot of color, which I adore."

Katz told the Telegraph UK, "Painting Anna was like shooting fish in a barrel. There was no way I could miss it."

Oh please. Apart from the haircut, the woman in the portrait looks nothing like Anna Wintour.

You are being too 'literal'. It's Alex Katz's style. I like it. It's very quazi-edgy London.

I like his style, too, it's recognizable in this portrait. What's not recognizable is the subject.

This portrait is from when she was 10?

Exactly! this has nothing to do with Wintour. The woman on the portrait is nicer.
