Bush, Cheney Meet For First Time Since Leaving White House (VIDEO)

Former President George W. Bush met former Vice President Dick Cheney Thursday for the first time since serving in the White House in 2009.

The meeting, which took place at Cheney's McLean, Va. home, came just three days after Cheney was hospitalized for his fifth heart attack. According to ABC News, Cheney invited Bush over for coffee.

Cameras were there to catch the very casual exchange at the beginning of their meeting:

"Mr. President, welcome," began Cheney.

"Lookin' good," replied Bush.

"Holding up," said Cheney.

"Lookin' good," said Bush again.

"Could be worse," said Cheney.

Politico reports that the two were scheduled to appear Friday at a "Bush-Cheney Alumni Reunion" in Washington, D.C. for their first public meeting since leaving office. Because of his health issues, Cheney will no longer attend.

While the former vice president has been a near constant figure on Sunday morning talk show circuit, chosing to publicly criticize of the Obama administration, Bush has maintained a much lower profile.
