The gloves are off in the Colorado Senate Race as Jane Norton's latest campaign ad has prompted both candidates to show their strategic hands. Norton's ad (below) continues to attack Bennet for his ties to the Obama administration, and attempts to bolster the former Lieutenant Governor's conservative credentials

"Our country's off track. Our government's out of control, and Senator Bennet's giving the President everything he wants. I'm Jane Norton, and I'm doing something about it."

(Voice Over)

Jane Norton: In Colorado, she cut government spending, eliminated waste, and de-funded Planned Parenthood."

In response, Bennet campaign surrogate and current Colorado Lieutenant Governor Barbara O'Brien penned an aggressive fundraising email accusing her predecessor of "pander[ing] to the extremists in her party," rather than "listen[ing] to what Coloradans really want."

The email also defended Planned Parenthood as "a major provider of women's health care services." It appealed directly to women by playing up Bennet's pro-choice credentials: "Women's rights are too important to play politics with -- he [Bennet] knows women shouldn't be denied critical health services just to score political points."

Norton is Ms. Teabag of 2010 in Colorado. Soon she'll whip out her white supremacist gear and really rev up the wingnut crowd.

She's a very strange pick even for a GOP candidate.

Too bad Jane Norton doesn't follow this line of thought.

Stay out of my moral and medical decisions.

Defunding planned parenthood is something to be proud of? Somebody needs to check, because Norton sounds like another "good ole BOY" to me.
