The supermodel said, "I've matured, I've grown up a lot, and I've made my mistakes, as the whole world knows, but I feel good about myself." She later added that she took a lot of time out to think about her temper, explaining, "Nobody wants to look in the mirror and face their demons and say, 'I have to fix this.' Nobody does...it's a scary thing to do. And I had to look in the mirror and face mine...I didn't want to be the way I was." Campbell called herself "a work in progress."
