Shaun White's 'Rolling Stone' Cover PICTURE: Shirtless, Flame-Filled

Shaun White is Rolling Stone's latest cover boy, and the two-time halfpipe gold medalist doesn't disappoint. The Olympian appears shirtless in American Flag pants, with a gold medal adorning his exposed upper-body while he douses a flaming snowboard with lighter fluid.

White definitely shows more skin than Lindsey Vonn did in her controversial Sports Illustrated cover photo. The snowboarder, who recently visited Milan for fashion week, speaks with the magazine about his life off the halfpipe. The interview appears in the print edition. Scroll down for the cover photo.

This little DWEEB..wins a gold medal for doing 4 little flips...then goes on every talk show there is(never watches one other Olympic sport), then heads back to Vancouver to be in Closing Ceremonies , so he can walk around and be photographed with the medal around his neck....what's next, making Skate-boarding an Olympic Sport??? Let's see this DWEEB do the "Board Cross", at least that is competition!!!

I like this guy. He does amazing stuff on a snowboard, and he keeps trying to advance his sport and his own abilities. With all that, he seems like a genuinely nice guy. I like that in a sports hero.

I seem to be the only person who found it offensive. Where were the Civil rights people? The NOW when this spoiled jerk was photographed at Grousse Mtn. with a female standing behind him holding an umbrella over his pigish head while HE sat. . But, as usual, only when its convenient. To stage a WHITE guy who thinks Hendrix "rebellion" was wearing unconventional clothing is a slap in the face to those of us who have the wisdom (and the memories) to understand the real meaning of Hendrix's (and Joplin's) deaths. I don't seem to remember any time during the 60's or 70's that was hip or cool. A lot of innocent deaths and suffering pretty much sums it up. I just love how they cover all of that up.

Images of sensual, nearly nude women are ubiquitous. Rarely are mens' bodies displayed as sunsual and nearly nude, outside of gay porn or Abercrombie and Fitch catalogs. This cover is completely earned and completely refreshing.
