Kate Gosselin Rocks A New York Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

Kate Gosselin brought her "Dancing" partner Tony Dovolani to the premiere of Discovery Channel's 'Life' in New York Thursday night.

Gosselin has a relationship with the network as TLC is part of the Discovery family, and that's the channel where 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' aired.

With her new hair and a snug black dress, Gosselin looked ready for her primetime 'Dancing with the Stars' debut in a few weeks. Meanwhile her ex-husband Jon is fielding offers from Playgirl.

Kate need to watch and take care of her kids. Almost everyday now she doing something for herself and nothiong for the kids. Nobody care about her, it was the kids that got her noticed in the first place. Shame on her.

Lemondade and Cuzkate you must not be mothers. Yes, we love our children, but we are also social beings who need to be seen as attractive and RELEVANT in the ADULT WORLD. My life as a profession­al, a women, and friend did not end because I got married and have children. It is called balance. If you think isolating yourself from the world when you have children is the way to go, more power to you, but I am sure that will change. Going out does not mean you are a bad mother. If she was stiil married and out with her husband would you two make the same comment? Don't vilify mothers because they want to do things that do not always include their children.

Macuser2, it is one thing to have time to yourself, everyone needs and deserves time to rewind and re-energiz­e. It is quite another to spend so MUCH time away from home, especially such an emotional time for her children. I understand that keeping herself in the public eye keeps her relevant, but she also must think about how to balance that with what is healthy for her children.

You say you are still a wife and mother and can still juggle your friends and make time for yourself. Does that include days and nights away from home each week in pursuit of that balance? I would wager that the answer is "no". Most woman are just fine with one or two evenings out a week with the girls and then a few long weekends when able.

She made a decision to have eight children, knowing full well all of the responsibi­lity that entails. Please do not make her into something she is not...a typical mother like you or me. She is an opportunis­t who took advantage of her situation. Unfortunat­ely, it is her children who are footing the bill and it is a high price to pay. We will all see that in time.

uhh this isn't like this is the first night. Every week this girl is out with other men. In fact she has gone out on more dates than her vilified husband. During the divorce she was saying how she just wants to be with her children and her husband doesn't. HMMMMMMM? I guess the her act doesn't have to go once the divorce is over.

Seems to me that the same over the top aggression involved in this developmen­t of a public identity as a "star" was the same aggression that drove her to get "pregnant" by in vitro process as soon as she was married. Sadly Jon was so passive that he just floated along. People hate Jon but I find Kate to be rather monstrous. I loved the program-al­l my friends were absolutely stunned to hear this but I liked the program although I cringed from the earliest shows over her treatment of Jon,
I am hoping that Jon has enough strength to simply withdraw from the camera and heal. The latest ugliness over his penis is so disgusting that I worry about the public-so vicious so desirous of seeing someone bleed. So i hope that Jon's study of Judaism is sincere and that he can engage his children in that study as they mature.
