Conan O'Brien Coming To Chicago

Posted: Updated:

All of those who miss Conan's late night banter, rejoice--you could see him in the flesh soon. Conan O'Brien announced on his Twitter page Thursday that he would stop in Chicago on his tour, aptly titled, "The Legally Prohibited From Being on Television Tour."

O'Brien will stop at the Chicago Theatre May 19th and 20th, the second show added an hour after the initial announcement, NBC Chicago reports. The tickets, which cost anywhere from $39.50 to $695 for a meet and greet package, sold out within hours. Chicago is one of 30 stops on the tour.

The show, which O'Brien described as a "half-assed comedy and music tour" and his website described as a "night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence" managed to jam teamcoco.com due to heavy traffic after he made the announcement.

O'Brien gave up his "Tonight Show" hosting gig after reaching a multi-million dollar deal with NBC in January, allowing Jay Leno to return to the show.

Fans rallied behind O'Brien, and apparently are thrilled to have him come to their cities.
