The city's former commissioner of planning and development testified today that U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez met with developer Calvin Boender and Mayor Richard Daley to discuss changing the zoning for a controversial development in the 29th Ward.
The Tribune previously has reported that Gutierrez, who has not been accused of wrongdoing, wrote a letter to Daley on the development's behalf after receiving a $200,000 loan from Boender.
