Ben Roethlisberger Investigator Posed For Pictures With Steelers QB

Posted: Updated:

It has already been established that Ben Roethlisberger was accompanied by two off-duty cops and a teammate the night of his second alleged sexual assault. But the Milledgeville Union-Recorder has uncovered a new wrinkle. According to the paper, a local police sergeant posed for pictures with the two-time Super Bowl champion during Roethlisberger's multi-bar night.

Even more bizarre is that the officer who posed with Roethlisberger "initially investigated the sexual assault complaint" against the Steelers quarterback:

Sgt. Jerry Blash, who subsequently wrote a sparse incident report that did not name Roethlisberger, had a close-up picture taken with the celebrity football player inside a local bar and, later, outside the bar with a group of other officers.

The Milledgeville police chief is not concerned about this development. Visit the Union-Recorder for more.
