Alex Ovechkin was penalized during yesterday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks for a high-speed hit on Chicago defenseman Brian Campbell. With 7:44 remaining in the first period, Ovechkin slammed Campbell into the boards. Campbell remained on the ice for several minutes following the hit before leaving with a trainer. While the hit looks bad and Ovechkin has a reputation for fierce play, it is hardly clear that the contact was particularly dirty. Scroll down to watch.
