Just for the record, I am a voter in Monster-rat's district, and am out of town. I already voted absentee, and my vote was for Peralta. I voted against Monserrate because I believe he is a criminal, who purposefully slashed his girlfriend. That, alone, was enough to turn me against him.

That he lied to the gay community in our district also disgusts me, but his propensity to use violence is far worse, at least to me.

Also for the record, Monster's girlfriend Karla, who lied on the stand during the trial, will likely get the order to keep away from Hiram lifted in the near future. She will move back in with him. And he will kill her next time.

I blame the judge who allowed her to lie, no matter what Karla's reasoning was/is.

It is absolutely sickening, isn't it.

Either these "Church Leaders" are anti-gay, or they condone violence against women. Or both.

Either way, I know for a fact that Jesus is not a happy camper.
