World's Worst Driver? Ridiculous Car Crash Caught On Tape (VIDEO)

First Posted: 05/16/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 04:50 PM ET

A massive mudslide in Tennessee completely blocked a road, prompting a local news organization to come for an on-scene report. It's a good thing they did, because they caught on tape this driver just plowing right into the rocks without even trying to brake.

As the slow-witted driver gets out of the car he can be heard exclaiming that he "didn't see" the rocks. Smooth.

keep government outa my government!!! The driver was heard saying upon realizing there were rocks not only on the road, but in his own head.

This is why we have government. We need it to protect dimly lit Southerners, and Northerners for that matter, with few brains from themselves.

There has just been far too much in breeding in the south, intelligence has went out the window there.

Gee...cops, tv crews and assorted other people gathered by the side of the road didn't clue him in to slowing down? Just goes to show, a single second of distraction will let you cover that 50 feet that goes from smooth road to rockslide.
I feel pity for this man, he will be the butt of every joke for the next week or so, and just because he made a tiny error at the wrong time in front of TV cameras.

It isn't 'Us and Them the People'. It is 'We'.

See! That's what you get for not driving a Jeep on 42s with lockers! I mean this guy's ability to pick a good line while rockcrawling is just atrocious! Paying attention might help a slight little bit too

It was on local news here in Nashville. Apparently he was distracted by the news cameras.

Unless this is RIGHT AROUND a tight corner (apparently not), this is one of the dumbest drivers ever (at least caught on video).

He should have let the dog drive.

What a sensationalistic headline. So the guy didn't see it coming around the turn. Big deal, the hype made me think it was far worse than a 5 foot slide at 20 mph. Who writes the headlines around here, some castaway from the New York Post?

What's so funny, a lot of the original Texans came from Tennessee, look it up.

Him and the dog were getting it on that 's why he didn't see it. Seriously watch when he gets out of the car his zipper looks to be unzipped and the dog looks bag to see the officer. Bestiality is a part of life in this part of TN.

Moral of the story: Texting while driving not adviseable in rock slide country.

There should be a law in Tenn warning about dicking and driving...
