Prosecutors In Murder Case Can't Prove Victim Is Dead, Says Defense

The attorney defending a McHenry man charged with murdering a Johnsburg teen nearly eight years ago said today prosecutors can't even prove that the supposed victim is dead.

"I'm having a hard time understanding how they ever had enough evidence to charge this defendant," said Brian F. Telander, attorney for Mario Casciaro.
