Peruvian surfing teacher Domingo Pianezzi says he has surfed with a dog, a parrot, a hamster and a cat. But it was on a trip to Australia, after witnessing the locals surfing with kangaroos and koalas, that he had the idea to teach his pet alpaca, Pisco, to ride the waves.
Alpacas, a South American camelid, are raised by Peruvians for their wool and are often kept as domesticated pets. Clearly, this life jacket wearing alpaca stands out from his peers as he learns how to surf in this wacky clip.
