A Chicago Transit Authority bus driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition after being struck by a rider during a fare dispute this afternoon in the city's West Elsdon neighborhood, officials said.
An arrest was made and no charges had been filed as of about 8:30 p.m., said Police News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti.
