Earth Hour 2010 PHOTOS: Lights Go Out Worldwide

Earth Hour 2010 is being celebrated today, March 27, 2010, with lights going out for one hour from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time in each part of the world. Organized by the World Wildlife Federation, people are asked to turn off all non-essential electrical devices to show support for action on climate change.

From Australia and the Middle East to Europe and North America, Earth Hour has truly become a global event, although the times of course vary by time zone.

MyEarthHour.com is posting information and multimedia from across the world as the event goes on. It's also documenting its progress through tweets.
