Palin Heckled At McCain Rally, She Responds (VIDEO)

First Posted: 05/27/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:00 PM ET

Sarah Palin gave a typically fiery speech in support of John McCain's re-election campaign today in Arizona. At one point, she was interrupted by a heckler, but he was quickly overwhelmed by the roar of the crowd and eventually escorted from the rally.

Responding to the heckler, Palin said, "Young man, stick around and listen to what we're going to say. Sir, maybe you'll learn something."

UPDATE: A local ABC station captured video of another protester being held on the ground following his ejection from the event:

Pretty much every time I see Sarah Palin, I donate money to Democrats.

Interesting that I never saw a teabagger person ever dragged off like that. Nor did they do anything to the people who yelled hateful remarks during the campaign at her rallies.

Look!Mommy cut his hair and dressed him before he went on his brave little outing of Palin heckling! It's a sign of this young man's intelligence, enlightenment, and tolerance that his protestations of "free speech"aren't aimed at our current, highly incompetent, and profoundly sociopathic political leaders and their visionary utopian articles of faith"The Fairness Doctrine",which will control speech on the radio, and"The Net Neutrality Act" which will control activity on the web.We all know these two very important tenets of our EsteemedProgressiveLeftistComrades are not written for the purpose of targeting grown boys living in their mommies' basements who spend their days trolling the internet for porn, lefty blogs, porn,Twilight sites where they bash RP and the 9 year old fans, and porn.I assume the 70%of Americans sickened by thisHCdebacle and a resulting need to blameSPfor that sickness is what inspired this courageous journey.Nothing ignites my patriotic soul more than witnessing the displays of a true freedom fighter trying to ensure that when his mommy is ready for the nursing home someone else will have to pay for it(though there are many things in this HC bill that strongly imply mommy, who no longer will be a productive member of our NationalistUnionizedCooperative of the Future and therefore a drain to Our Leaders' well earned power and lifestyles, shall be led to a burial plot instead).Has he ever readANYof this bill?He needs to be careful because the days of being a useful idiot are always numbered, and the aforementioned bureaucrats of mediocrity will be deciding HIS healthcare options.

I tell you what some sucker in a Mccain Palin shirt grabed me it'd be a tussle. One thing if a uniformed officer does it, right wing nut jobs have no right throwing this man to the ground.

When I first read the headline I thought it said "Palin Heckles McCain at Rally"... and it just didn't seem too far-fetched, considering their slugfest after the election.

What is so ironic is that she tells him that if he sticks around he may learn something......When in fact he had no choice in "sticking around"....Palin's thugs had him removed. Free speech is GOOD....but only when it is for Sarah Palin. She is a hypocrite, fraud and a liar. She is inciting violence all over this country and it definitely is ramping up. Thanks, $arah.

for the real truth about Paylin, read about her at www.palingates.blogspot.com Babygate and abortiongate are very interesting.

It's odd (not really) that the hate rhetoric of the "right-wing nut jobs" is "freedom of speech" - and any dissenting views to theirs is "silenced". The Evil Empire = GOP/RNC. Faux Newz, Faux Patriotism, Faux knowledge. Faux America = Glenbeckistan.

At the risk of being flippant (but how can I help it when speak about Ms. Palin), ever notice how she sounds like Rocky the Flying Squirrel when she speaks? Hmmm, now who's Bullwinkle?

Funny how the crowd reacted as if her retort were truly clever when in fact it was pretty lame and average.

You said it all - lame & average. Just a thought, notice how low the level of "average" has become. A sure sign of how far along we are to the race to the bottom!

Not to take anything away from Viet Nam vets, but Palin's last remark reminded me of Walter in 'The Big Lebowski'.

by claming to improve health care..by reducing medicare payments by 500 billion dollars
12:27 PM on 03/30/2010
Sounds like you do drink the kool aid.

The 500 billion in cuts are from Medicare plus, not medicare. That means the insurance companies no longer get their gravy train at our expense. They promised to run medicare efficiently. Instead, we are now paying 115% of the cost, which goes right into CEO bonuses.
