James Franco's Short Story Collection Out In October

[E]ven I had to raise an eyebrow when I learned that Scribner would be publishing Franco's first book this October, a story collection named for the 31-year-old star's hometown: Palo Alto. The track record of young actors dabbling in published fiction -- think Ethan Hawke's The Hottest State or Macaulay Culkin's Junior -- is not exactly encouraging.
