Roxana Saberi, Former Iranian Prisoner, Talks To Jon Stewart About New Book 'Between Two Worlds' (VIDEO)

Author, journalist, and former Miss North Dakota Roxana Saberi was on The Daily Show last night to talk about her new book, "Between Two Worlds: My Life in Captivity in Iran," and the five months that she spent in an Iranian prison. Saberi explained that she had gone to Iran to learn more about her family's history and to work as a foreign correspondent and interview people for a book about the country.

While there, she was unexpectedly arrested and sentenced to eight years in prison, and was told that her book was clearly "a cover for espionage for the United States," and that she could be sentenced to death, though the prosecutor confessed to her that they did not believe she was actually a spy. Saberi speculated that she was held to send a message to other journalists and people in Iran who might reach out to the United States.
