Senator Schumer Seeks Federal Aid After Storm Battering

Sen. Charles Schumer is pressing the Federal Emergency Management Agency to expedite disaster aid.

The metro region has been hit with three big storms in four months.

In December, the region saw upwards of 2 feet of snow in some areas. FEMA denied New York's aid request. A FEMA spokeswoman says the agency is working with the state to help with an appeal.
