I'm overwhelmed, everyday with tthe missleading sales pitches for just about anything.
This one is up at the top of the list.
Here's a person who thinks he has something good to add to the consumer products list and he hooks up with some snake oil sales man to move it to market with out a shred of real information all hype with the the correct sound bite that has been proven to work.
These type of sales and falsifying information is just as detrimental to the environment as the big polluters. At the end of the day all these little lies add up just like the big ones.
Does anybody remember when there was truth in advertising.

I'm going to switch from an electric can opener to a hand crank can opener and call it a Zero Energy lunch. *(I'll just ignore the energy used in heating up my beans & pork)

What part of having to heat the water outside of the machine is zero energy? And why would I use coffee, which is highly acid, in a aluminum machine?
