Little Girl Finds Obama Incredibly Boring (PHOTO)

First Posted: 06/04/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:05 PM ET

President Obama spoke in Portland, Maine last week, and was greeted by an ecstatic audience of 2,500. Well, make that 2,499. One little girl was not impressed. Not even having the best seat in the house could keep her from counting the minutes and presumably asking her mother "how come her brother didn't have to come to this stupid rally." Reminds me of the early sixties, when Princess Anne came to visit our new town. My mum dragged me out there at some ungodly hour, well in advance - I was three - and got right to the front of the line and all ready. I was completely unimpressed, whined about how long it was taking for her to arrive and ended up sitting on a cushion because I was tired of standing up. A local photographer took a photo and my mum never forgave me for not being in the photo because sitting down I was too low to be seen among the crowd.

Honestly, I think it was partly because Princess Anne kept me waiting and made my legs hurt when I was three that I went on to become a republican....

I'm thinking she just realized all the extra tax burdens Obama placed on her generation and has already given up. Why do black men ruin everything they touch?!?

Oh, I don't know. Why are racists always stupid?

These are the questions that tax us in life....

Obama hasn't come close to the burden placed on them by GEORGE W. BUSH.

Oh yeah, you're not into FACTS and TRUTH. Why do white racists_ ruin everything they touch.

My guess is that most kids find middle age folks boring; sounds like a normal kid.

It's rather ironic that she's just not old enough to drink the koolaid.
07:04 PM on 04/05/2010
You do not know what ironic means- the photo can be said to be ironic, the fact that she is not old enough to be interested in politics is not ironic at all.Lemme guess- U luv Palin.

What kid wouldn't be bored at a political rally? The parents should have found a baby sitter & let her play with her toys like a 6 or 7 year old should. Kids are not supposed to be present at these events. The way things have been going, I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt. I would not take a kid to a political event even if they BEGGED to go in the current charged environment.- with the yelling spitting & heckling & all.

My father took me to Meet Mondale in 84 at the Flint airport I was 6 years old I made a huge poster and I was super excited

That's probably because there was nothing else to do in 1984 ... except maybe drugs .. But at 6, i'm going to have to say there wasn't much else.

Simply hilarious. You can tell the women behind her is the mother....they look just alike. When are the republicans going to use this little girl to further their cause is the question...

When Kennedy was shot, I was in third grade. They wheeled a TV into our classroom to watch the reports. It was history--and a terribly tragedy for our country.

I took the unusual opportunity of a TV in our classroom and all eyes on it to put my head down on my desk and take a nap.

She looks like a tired kid, too.
