An American Apparel rummage sale in London turned uglier than safari-print jeggings last Friday, when over 2,000 people showed up to get their share of the hipster retailer's goods. A small conflict in the line turned into a riot, in which 10 police officers were hurt and three people arrested. The sale was shut down that day, but rescheduled to run through today with extra security.
The sale's organizers apologized via Facebook, saying they'd "never witnessed anything like it." The melee marks another strike against the company, which has fallen on hard times and turned to "The Price is Right" for help.
