NewsTrust Findings On New York Media Coverage

NewsTrust, partnering with the HuffPost Eyes & Ears citizen journalism team, set out to examine New York media coverage of the recession and its impact on the city. The articles and broadcast stories that were compiled were rated not on popularity but on trustworthiness.

Some of the most trusted stories came from diverse sources like the Village Voice, Brooklyn Ink, New York Times and City Limits.

Surprisingly, two of the stories ranked as least trusted came from NY1 and the Associated Press.
