Jon Voight: Obama 'Rapes This Nation' (VIDEO)

Jon Voight read a letter he had written condemning President Obama to the American public when he appeared as a guest on Mike Huckabee's Fox News show over the weekend.

"The American People are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration," Voight said. "President Obama feeds people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy ... [Obama uses] a socialistic, Marxist teaching, and with it, he rapes this nation..."

Voight goes on to invoke God and call for everyone to join their local tea party movement. This is not the first time he has called Obama a socialist and worse.

when the supreme court equates "free speech" with cash donations and decides that people with money should have a larger voice than people without and politicians go against the welfare of their constituents to bend over backwards to special interests, when politicians start illegal wars to give their buddies contracts, when politicians would rather spend money to kill people in foreign lands rather than spend less money to help their own, maybe socialism isn't so bad. Voight just gets crazier and crazier every time he opens his pathetic mouth. It's rather humorous that the GOP will trash and talk bad about the "elite HOLLYWOOD celebrities" when they're Democrats, but get out of their way when they manage to snag some washed up B & D list actors---they stick them front and center with their loopy conspiracies and uninformed opinions. And Huckabee is most definitely a loser---he lost the nomination for president, didn't he? And listening to him speak about gay rights leads one to believe there's very little of the love and tolerance that's rumored to be in his supposedly Christian heart.

I like how after Voight reads his open letter, Mike Huckabee clarifies that Obama doesn't intend to do harm to the USA, but his policies will. In Voight's letter, he describes Obama as "raping" and "assaulting" America. I think rape and assault both imply intent to harm, don't they?
