New York City Water: Is It Really That Clean?

Last month, the Environmental Protection Agency announced plans to tighten drinking-water standards, which are reviewed every six years. Wondering just how potable our water is, we had a lab analyze tap samples from fourteen locations around the city.

The good news: Our water is pristine, with all samples passing EPA standards. But that doesn't mean our liquid assets are pure, unadulterated H20.
