47% didn't pay Federal income tax because they made too little money! Its something like less than $30,000!!! They DO pay payroll taxes, sales taxes, etc. Tea Partiers, please stop complaining about this 47% and tell us about your solutions.

They protest, as 47% of Americans paid no federal taxes this year. Makes you wonder what it really is about I think it's because a black man is living in the White House.

This is California and you obviously don't live here. It's not just taxes but fines and everything else that has skyrocketed. There's even a surcharge now of 9 1/2% on parking fines. Passing a red light has gone from $250.00 to almost $500.00. In Sacramento, the city leaves a trash container in front of your house for any dirt or garden work you've trashed but doesn't tell you that it's going to cost you if you use it. Everything has gone sky high and services are cut below the bone for the neediest. This is not about race at all. All the rage about taxes is cumulative.

Then get the wealthy and commercial real estate to start paying their fair share. Reform Prop 13 and we wouldn't have the problem.

BTW, in CA we still pay less overall than Texans who have no income tax but all the other ones.

PS. You can save a lot by obeying traffic laws like not running red lights.
