In conjunction with the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Ben & Jerry's unveiled their newest ice cream flavor last night: "Bonnaroo Buzz."

Reminiscent of Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, Bonnaroo Buzz's flavor is billed as, "Light coffee & malt ice cream with whiskey caramel swirls & english toffee pieces."

Bonnaroo Buzz was introduced at a concert Monday night at New York's Bowery Ballroom, with LA-based Ozomatli performing for a packed floor.

The flavor will be available at the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee, this June 10-13, and in Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops across the country. Per Ben & Jerry's usual procedure, it will not be available in pints for now, the production of which will be dictated by consumer demand (so eat up).

Bonnaroo will donate its portion of the proceeds of the sale of its namesake flavor to the Bonnaroo Works Fund, which supports various local, regional, and national non-profits, particularly in Tennessee. For more information about the Fund, go here.

Next up before Bonnaroo on June 10-13 will be an "outrageous Bonnaroo Buzz flavor release party" at Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops nationwide. Until then, here's a taste:

Sounds good. B+J's is my fave brand, of course. I may not like them all [Half-Baked forever!] but when you have ice cream named after jam band legends...you can't go wrong.

Ben & Jerry. Two words that make me regret being a Vegan. Sometimes.

I have attempted veganism with a few days in between, devoid of will power. this ice cream is reponsible for some of those days, as rarely as I consume real dairy anymore. I know what you mean. I feel ya.

I'd eat it, but then there is a B&J flavor that I wouldn't eat.

What's in "Bonnaroo Buzz."?

Probably 250 grams of fat.

I would like to see more ice cream and desserts involving liquor. It's an underused ingredient, especially in the sweets world!

Meh. Seems kind of bland.

B&J should have developed the library-themed flavor: Gooey Decimal System.

Nice. Right next to the 9 most dubious food claims article in my huff mobile main page comes this example of dairy pr0n. Woot. Check out the Cornell research on casein toxicity - an oversugared carcinogenic apocalypse in a waffle cone headed your way soon...

I own an ice cream catering business in Orlando that creates ice cream right in front of the guest using liquid nitrogen. We make liquor ice cream all the time - Strawberry Margarita (with tequila), Kahlua, Pina Colada (with rum), and more. Our favorite is the Drunken Turtle - caramel, fudge, pecans, and a generous dose of Jack Daniels!

I wish I could tell you where my shop was, but I doubt that would be allowed on HP. Next time you're in Orlando, ask the hotel about the place with the liquid nitrogen ice cream and they'll send you to me.

Ben and Jerry's needs to get more exotic, they just released three caramel based flavors. When I was a kid (in Vermont) I couldn't believe all of the crazy flavors they had, now they are just putting out variations on the same type! Its almost like it's being made by a computer! (Although I do like the new boston cream pie and milk and cookies flavors)

Gimme a good old-fashioned lemon custard ice cream!
